Nick Fox replaces Prabhakar Raghavan in charge of Search and advertising at Google

Sundar Pichai, Google’s CEO, announced a leadership shift: Prabhakar Raghavan, head of Google’s search and ads, will step down and become Google’s Chief Technologist. In his new role, Raghavan will focus on providing technical leadership and strengthening the company’s tech culture. Nick Fox, a long-time Google executive, will succeed him, having played a key role in shaping Google’s AI roadmap. Additionally, the Gemini app team will merge with Google DeepMind for better collaboration, and the Google Assistant team will join the Platforms and Devices division. These changes come as Google emphasizes AI leadership amidst ongoing antitrust lawsuits.
