Microsoft Advertising is moving smart shopping campaigns to Performance Max in the coming months, with emails sent out earlier. The transition will keep reporting and history unchanged but includes a 1-2 week learning period post-upgrade. Additional news:

  • Language Expansion: Advertising platform now available in six new languages.
  • Content Delivery: Video and Connected TV ads supported, allowing Netflix inventory use. Users can create customized banner assets and access Summer Games audience opportunities through performance data.
  • Algorithm Updates: Bing introduced spam updates finishing rollout; Google announced search quality AI interview.
  • User Engagement: Improved user experience with product expansions and content handling enhancements like file uploads.
