Google is expanding its Nearby Sharing feature to enable Android devices to help locate lost items using Bluetooth and a crowdsourced network. This system, called the "Android Lost and Found Network," will function similarly to Apple's Find My network. Tags equipped with Bluetooth will emit a sound when in close proximity and display location information for users to navigate towards it. The tags are expected to cost around $20 each and may help find valuable items like wallets, backpacks, or keys.
